This aromatic, medium bodied pale red has notes of fresh cherry and forest fruits, developing a velvety and spicy character with age.
The winemaking process took place entirely by gravity. Pre-fermentation cold maceration last for a minimum of three days, at approximately 7 to 8 °C in stainless steel tanks. Fermentation temperatures were around 22-23C° using selected yeasts in stainless steel tanks. During the maceration and fermentation phase, the must underwent twice daily stirring. 30% was vinified using carbonic maceration to emphasise the fruity style. 56% of the wine was matured in French oak barrels for five months, in mostly used 500- litre oak barrels; 80% was second use oak, in order to keep the oak influence subtle. The remainder was matured in stainless steel.
Pale red in colour with aromas of fresh cherry, raspberry, red forest fruits and delicate spice, this medium bodied wine has a lively aromatic structure. Fresh and fruity, developing a velvety and spicy character with age.
