Domaine de la Décelle is an estate of 82 hecatares in Valréas located in the heart of the Enclave des Papes (this is just over a 6th of the whole appellation.) Due to its latitude and altitude, it is subject to unique climatic conditions that are conducive to the creation of structured, complex wines of incredible freshness. The temperature variation between day and night also allows for the grapes to ripen slowly. The wine is made from 50 year old vines grown on red clay and pebbles. 100% destemmed grapes which are vinified at cool temperatures in stainless steel.
Tasting notes
An aromatic nose of soft white with a touch of creaminess and delicate white flowers. Medium bodied, with more citrus notes on the palate and wonderful freshness with a lovely finish.
