The Kaapse Vonkel, or "Cape Sparkle" in Afrikaans, was the very first Cap Classique produced in the traditional Champagne method back in 1971, and nearly 50 years later is still being produced by the same family!
Delicious floral aromas with a lovely yeastiness, the Chardonnay adds a touch of citrus freshness. Flavours of buttered toast and fresh bread, with touches of roast almonds. The mousse is creamy and elegant with delicate bubbles. Champagne quality at half the price!
