Bright and citrine in colour. The aroma is fresh and intense with floral and tropical fruit notes. On the palate it is Structured, mineral, complex and fresh. Culminating in a long, balanced and persistent finish.
The Gouveio grapes are meticulously chosen and harvested by hand from the Favaios plateau. After a 48-hour pre-fermentative maceration, the grapes undergo the first racking process. Alcoholic fermentation occurs in stainless steel vats, with a controlled temperature between 15-18ºC for approximately 15 days. After fermentation, the wine ages for 5 months in contact with fine lees, before being filtered and bottled.
Food Match
Pairs well with a variety of seafood, including oysters, shrimp, and grilled fish. It’s also a great match for light salads with citrus dressings or vinaigrettes.
