Aged for 12 months in lightly toasted, second-use French oak, brings aromas of fresh berries, a trace of sour cherry, and hints of blackberry and black cherry with a soft touch of vanilla. On the palate, it's intense yet smooth, with balanced tannins and a medium-bodied profile. Dry and slightly sinewy, it has a refreshing edge and finishes with a lovely, lingering aromatic quality.
