Winemaking Process: Crafted by Sociedade Agrícola Encosta do Guadiana and overseen by winemaker Rui Reguinga, this wine hails from the Baixo Alentejo region of Portugal and carries the denomination of Vinho Regional Alentejano. Made exclusively from Alicante Bouschet grapes grown in Southern Alentejo's schist soils, the wine undergoes vat fermentation with temperatures carefully controlled at 24°C to 25°C. Following fermentation, it matures for 12 months in French oak barrels before further bottle aging.
Presenting a deep garnet color, this wine boasts a full-bodied and elegant palate, characterized by soft tannins. On the palate, it reveals flavors of ripe fruit, particularly black plum, complemented by subtle notes of spices. The overall profile is rich and expressive, promising a sensory journey with each sip.
Food Match
