Following a brief period of maceration, fermentation occurs on the skins in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Maturation takes place partly in large oak casks and partly in 500-liter barrels.
Bright garnet red colour, with slight orange tinges. Intense on the nose, with fruity aromas of marasca cherries and hints of violets. Spicy notes of black pepper, liquorice and goudron. Dry, warm and soft, showing a long, rich, smooth flavour.
