Ripe, dark berry fruit, blackberry, blueberry, with subtle hints of pomegranate and dates. Full-bodied and soft on the palate, but in no way banal or ponderous thanks to the firm acidity. Good length
Talliya is the Phoenicians’ goddess of rain and dew. She was known by many names such as Talay, Talaya, and Talliya. Her fame spread throughout the world until it reached South American countries where many were called after her. But originally, this was the name of our Phoenician goddess Talia.
The desert did not stretch to Phoenicia thanks to the high mountains that kept the dry sands away and faced the wet sea breeze creating rain in winter and watering the fertile soil. The Phoenicians took Talia as their goddess of dew and winter and offered her sacrifices in exchange for rain and abundant crops, as they often associated elements of nature with female deities.
