The La Scolca Gavi dei Gavi D'Antan is a luxurious Italian wine from the Piedmont region. This elegant, complex white wine is made exclusively from Cortese grapes, providing a lovely, crisp acidity. A superb example of how Gavi can age, this wine is only produced in the best years using the best grapes from vineyards some of which are over 60 years of age. Hand harvested from vineyards with less than 50 q/ha depending on the vintage. 
 
Light straw yellow in colour with delicate greenish highlights. Intense, long, continuous, lasting with flavours varying from fruitiness to floral depending on the stage of its evolution. Strong on the palate, typical of Gavi. Flinty with walnut and toasted almond on the finish.
