A great example of Portuguese expert blending, Quinta da Lapa harvests from the inland Tejo (formerly Ribatejo) region just outside Lisbon, where the influence of the Tejo River is felt. Touriga Nacional, Castaleo, Syrah and Alicante Bouschet grapes are fermented in stainless steel for 4 months with no oaking.
Pleasant aromas of ripe fruit underlaid by hints of wild herbs, sweet spice and beetroot. Good mouth volume, with juicy strawberries & cream standing out before toasty notes and dried fruit on the velvety finish.
